EVERYTHING ENVELOPES!
We invite you to join us on May 24th for our last meeting until September. Member, Debi Zeinert, will do a presentation on her journey into the wonderful world of addressing envelopes! After her talk, there will be several tables where you can learn to make a unique “Flap Lock” origami envelope, or an envelope accordion book, have your name calligraphically written on an envelope or learn ways to decorate an envelope. Envelopes, enve-lopes, envelopes…..that is the theme!!
Also that evening, we will have our Secret Scribe reveal. If you participated in Secret Scribe, please remember to bring all of your goodies to this meeting.
And, May will be our FINAL EXAM! Assigned homework was to Zentangle something! Extra credit for calligraphy or lettering and our final collection for this year for the Card for the Troops! A big thanks to everyone who created cards for our troops……what a nice way to help our heroes in our own special way!
Please remember to bring your Report Card to the meeting, as we will have a special drawing with prizes for members who participated in the homework assignments and extra credit. We hope everyone had fun participating and looking at our members’ talented contributions, I know we did!!
