It seems I just wrote some comments for the May newsletter and here it is time for the June newsletter.
Our May meeting was very informative with the presentation of Graffiti history and the distinction of Gang graffiti and Graffiti as an art.
Much of the photos related to the style of lettering and Elliot demonstrated many letter styles, some of which were difficult to read.
It was an education that we all benefited from. We were fortunate that Gordon Lang was there with us and video taped the evenings program and will have copies on CD at the June meeting. If you would like a CD, let us know. There may be a small fee.
Also our secret scribes were revealed and I was surprised to learn that my secret scribe was Ben Sieren. I didn't guess at all. A few years ago his Mom was sending me things and many wonderful lemon flavored foods that her husband delivered to my house on his way to work.
My wife commented a number of times that the person delivering was so young.
We do need some help in a couple areas for continuing our great organization. We need a person to coordinate our Spring Clinic for 2011 to be held in April and Faith Miller, after 5 years, would like to turn over the mailings activity. Please consider helping out in these areas.
